Biometric Verification guide lines for
Subscribers:
According to
PTA’s guidelines, a customer can have maximum 5 SIMs against his/her CNIC.
Customer
must know about the number of connections he/she has already subscribed on
his/her CNIC.
Customer can
check the registered SIMs against his/her CNIC by sending 13 digit CNIC number
to 668. This will return the operator wise connection count for the submitted
CNIC.
The
Bio-Metric Center representative will verify the already subscribed connections
The sale
will be processed only if the customer has less than 5 registered connections
Customer
will scan his/her thumb/finger (Index Finger and Thumb of both Left and Right
hand) on the biometric device.
Real time
Verification from NADRA will be performed for the thumb/finger impression.
Upon
successful verification, SIM will be registered on customer’s CNIC, NICOP or
SNIC.

Verification guide lines for customer buying SIM from Non-Biometric Centers
(Registered outlets allowed by PTA to sell till 31st July)
Customer can
buy Ufone SIM from any Registered SIM selling outlet/Franchise/CSC.
According to
PTA’s guidelines, a customer can have maximum 5 SIMs against his/her CNIC.
The Sales
Center/point representative will validate the authenticity of CNIC and number
of already registered connections.
Customer can
also check registered SIMs against CNIC by sending 13 digit CNIC number at 668.
This will return the operator wise connection count for the submitted CNIC.
After
qualifying the CNIC validation and already registered connections, customer
will get the SIM from the sales center/point.
If the
purchaser is different from the actual customer, then actual customer should
call 789 with his/her and purchaser CNIC
The Customer
care executive from 789 will ask few verification questions regarding Mother
Name, Place of Birth, Father Name and Address.
After
verification of the questions asked, the SIM will be activated.
In case
there are already 5 or more connections subscribed against the CNIC, the
customer has to visit the service center of relevant operator.
Customer can
always request the ownership denial and request to disown any number by
visiting the service center of relevant operator.
The customer
can contact Ufone by dialing 333 from already active Ufone connection or by
dialing UAN 111-333-100 for any further assistance.
