Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) - this is a
platform-independent environment from Adobe to launch applications, allowing to
use HTML / CSS, Ajax, Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex to migrate web applications to
the desktop. Adobe AIR includes the ability to create an installation package
that can easily be installed on the user's computer. Packages are supported on
all platforms supported by this system, but existing in modern operating
systems, package management; it supports only the YUM for Linux.

With AIR, you can easily transfer
the finished HTML-or Flex-application on the user's computer.
Applications have access to the
file system, clipboard, there is support for multiple windows, technology drag
and drop.
