Norton Security Tablet 2.0 (Symantec) Free Download Antivirus 2012

As with any computer can also spy on Android tablets and infect with malware. The Symantec software Norton Security Tablet 2.0 is designed to protect against these dangers. The installation of the only commercially available software is easy thanks to the included quick guide. After the first start the software will automatically perform an update and scan the tablet for pests. By default, the program repeats this process every week - that's too little.

Another drawback: Norton Security 2.0 scans tablet inserted SD card automatically. After we turned on this option, a complete scan on our test unit lasted Asus Slider fast 26 seconds. During the test, let himself go on working not in the usual pace - otherwise interfered with the software because of the low memory consumption of 22 MB is not at work.

Negative: The "Internet Protection" settings are missing. Search is active, cannot elicit what websites are blocked and what not. After all: A possible site lock can be set via a button lift for 30 minutes.

Although the anti-theft packaging promises Norton Anti-Theft, this requires a separate download from the Android Market. At least he is free and without problems. When you first start a registration is required. Once that's done, the device can locate a Web page and block. Shoot the feature, a photo from a distance was possible, unfortunately not in the test.
Summary: Symantec's Norton security protects Tablet Android 2.0 tablets from fraudulent websites and malicious software. Thanks to the price of only CHF 33.50 it is worth buying the software, despite some shortcomings.
